What is sculpture and image to you?
Sculpture and Image is, to me, the chance to explore the three dimensional possibilities of the two dimensional images that I've known so thoroughly throughout my life.
What are your objectives for the course?
I hope to achieve a greater understanding of the dynamic between two dimensional images and three dimensional space- I've studied both exclusively but their relationship remains largely a mystery. Space is inextricable from perception, so this issue is of a great curiosity to me.
What would you like to accomplish in the course?
I would like to have produced - or at least conceived of the idea for the production of an installation piece that is truly realized both visually and conceptually.

What is sculpture and image to you?
-Sculpture and Image are 2 parts to a whole composition.
-They are the elements to which, I find, to be the most interesting and visually as well as conceptually stimulating.
What are your objectives for the course?
- I would like to further my knowledge of composition in 3D
-As well as ganging different views as to view the work we create.
What would you like to accomplish in the course?
By the end of the course I would like to have a new understanding of form, as well, or more importantly a greater understanding and skill base of how to use a lot of different media.

I'm not really sure what sculpture and image means to me. I suppose an examination of the world around me, looking at stories and experience to create artworks.
What are your objectives for the course?
I want to learn more about abstraction within sculpture; working with natural/found materials . I also want to further my understanding of the relationship between sculpture and painting. (jh note:Jessica Stockholder)
What would you like to accomplish in the course?
I'd like to become more familiar with sculpture techniques and installation methods, and to further develop my own artistic process. I'd also like to examine my own interests within the world of contemporary art.

-A quality that makes up the whole visual world.
-Something that together can produce a product that can hold more important means, ideas, concepts

What are your objectives for the course?
My objectives are to fully experiment with and push forward my sculptural work.
-Continue to expand and become comfortable with the idea of 3D work.
- Use sculpture/image as something I can take with me to other disciplines (painting).
What would you like to accomplish in the course?
I'd like to achieve a further general development in sculpture. Last year (first year sculpture class) by the end of the term I was fully inspired and felt as though I might have a direction in sculpture I enjoy and would want to continue with. I hope I can pick up from that point and see where it will take me.

What is sculpture and image to you?
I think because of Dil's class I think of any image made 3D or any sculpture that relies on image to be created I guess it could be anything with an image or 3D component.
What are your objectives for the course?
Learn as much as possible, but have my work come naturally and not be crazy stressed. Learn to have fun with art.
What would you like to accomplish in the course?
To have works that I created and didn't necessarily think I could have or wouldn't have thought of before starting the course.
Maybe a little more comfortable with the wood-shop. It is hard and scary for me.

Learn t understand how objects behave in space, particularly figures.

What is sculpture and image to you?
Sculptre for me is the exploration of a medium through touch - I can take a form from my mind and give it structure and mass outside my imagination and construct it within the outside world. To bring image and sculpture to reality.
What are your objectives for the course?
My objective in this course remains unchanged. As always it is to challenge myself, to break down walls I have created for myself and take my art, hopefully to another plateau, beyond where I have reached now. To prove to myself that I can go further then I have in my past.
What would you like to accomplish in the course?
I would like to pass obviously, but most importantly I want to learn, to take away a knowledge and understanding of sculpture that I can share with others. (As I hope one day to be a high school art teacher.)

What are your objectives for the course?
Become more comfortable with 3D volume. I want to learn to better manipulate of rather understand visual spaciality.
What would you like to accomplish in the course?
I hope to gain skills in terms of understanding a space but also how to create spaces - I want to better understand sculpture as a space/body of its own interacting within another space. Also I have been working through different mediums and trying to relate one medium to the next. I want to see how other mediums and their boundaries, like photography or painting can be combined, influenced, changed etc. by sculpture.
